Inspired by the legendary Bakunawa sea serpent from Philippine folklore, the coaster combines immersive storytelling with multiple industry-first innovations. Riders will experience three powerful LSM launches, including the world’s first upside-down launch, as well as the world’s first floorless spinning coaster design.

The attraction will feature freely rotating vehicles, ensuring a unique ride experience on every journey. As the centerpiece of Six Flags Great Adventure’s redeveloped Boardwalk area, Bakunawa is poised to become one of the most anticipated coaster openings of 2027 and another milestone in the long-standing partnership between Six Flags and Mack Rides.

Reversum is a modern family spinning coaster featuring freely rotating cars that turn independently during the ride, ensuring that no two experiences are ever the same. The attraction delivers dynamic thrills while remaining accessible to a broad audience, combining smooth track transitions with surprising moments of rotation—without any inversions. Two trains provide a capacity of up to 1,000 guests per hour, supporting efficient operations even during peak attendance periods.

The new coaster is seamlessly integrated into Leolandia’s “Crazy Circus” themed area and represents the highlight of a three-year investment plan exceeding €30 million. Elaborate theming elements, including a 12‑meter‑high striped circus tent, detailed queue design, and historically inspired train aesthetics, create an immersive experience from entrance to exit.
